Most of us can remember the infamous "Food Pyramid" from our earlier years, but rarely do we remember the details.

So here's a refresher....

The Food Groups

*Grains
*Vegetables 
*Fruits 
*Oil
*Milk
*Meat & Beans



Tips:
Make half your plate fruits and vegetables. 
Make at least half of your grains whole grains. 
Make your protein lean.
Switch to fat-free or low-fat (1%) milk.
Oils can provide essential nutrients
